Sherri Furr Colson

Sherri Furr Colson, 51, of Norwood passed away Friday December 28, 2018 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday December 31, 2018 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bill Roberts will officiate and interment will follow at Norview Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Edwards Funeral Home.

Sherri was born on January 28, 1967 to the late Tony Cleveland and Ann McCarter Furr. She worked at the snack bar at Piney Point Golf Club and attended Norwood First United Methodist Church.

Sherri loved to dance, paint, write poetry, and fish.  Her favorite time spent was with her beloved husband Frankie, her granddaughter Kayleigh, and the beach trips with the girls.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Yvonne Colson and her sister Debbie Poore.

She is survived by her husband, Frankie Colson of the home; son: Frank Colson (Jamie) of Norwood; one granddaughter Kayleigh Colson; sister, Terri Smith (Carl) of Norwood; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
