Sandra (Mabry) Frick

Sandra Mabry Frick, 50, of Norwood passed away Thursday morning, August 31, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00Noon, Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Community Full Gospel Church in Norwood.  Rev. Mike Lisk will officiate and interment will follow in Porter Community Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, Friday evening, September 1, 2017 at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood. 

Sandra was born September 25, 1966 in Stanly County to the late James Vaughn and Ruth Marbry Mabry.  She was a 1984 graduate of South Stanly High School and a 1988 graduate of Campbell University.   She was a beloved teacher at Park Ridge Christian School where she taught for 16 years.  She also taught piano lessons and Sunday school at her church. 

Sandra loved children and enjoyed watching them grow academically and in their faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Frick.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Megan Frick, a student at Campbell University; brother, Randy Mabry and wife, Brenda of Albemarle; nephew, Gabriel Mabry of Norwood.
