Robert Lenzie Richardson

Robert Lenzie Richardson, 66, of Candor, passed away Sunday August 6, 2017.

A graveside service will be held at 4:00PM, Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery, Ellerbe, NC.  Pastor Jim Bowers and Pastor Carl Wood will officiate.  The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until 3:30PM, Thursday at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood.

Mr. Richardson was born April 27, 1951 in Montgomery County to the late Lenzie  and Pauline Johnson Richardson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandchildren, Justin and Stephanie Maready, Dakota Kelly and Julia Bowman.

He is survived by his wife, Irene Bowers Richardson of the home; children, Charlene Maready (Ed Williams) of Candor, Scott Kelly (Romana) of Ellerbe, Sherry Richardson and Crystal Richardson Heath both of Candor; sisters, Joyce Loftin of Winston-Salem and Lacata Griffin of Troy.; eight grandchildren, Richard Maready, Christina and Teresa Kelly, Kelby and Gaylen Richardson, Alexis and Patrick Heath and Jazzlin Bowman; four great-grandchildren.
