Robert Carver

Robert Odis Carver 81 of Norwood died Sunday Morning, January 20, 2019 at Forrest Oakes Healthcare.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, January 25, 2019 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jeremy Holt will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Robert was born April 23, 1937 in Stanly County to the late Jay and Ophia Kimrey Carver. He was retired from Collins and Aikman and Aeroquip.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Mildred “Mickey” Hathcock Carver of the home. Three sons, Tod Carver (Scot) of Raleigh, Tracy Carver (Christina) and Roger Carver (Michelle) all of Norwood. Two daughters, Terrie Carver Ostrander (Dallas) of Albemarle and Leigh Ann Carver Livingston of Locust. One sister, Polly Scott of Albemarle. Seven Grandchildren, Brandon Mabry (Samantha), Ashley Foreman (Garrett), Samantha Carver, Jordan Livingston, Dylan Livingston, Adreanna Carver and Summer Ross. Two Great-Grandchildren, Acelyn Carver and Lily Mabry.
