Nellie (Freeman) Dennis

Nellie Mae Freeman Dennis 91 of Norwood died Thursday Morning, October 11, 2018 at Bethany Woods.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 14, 2018 at Porter Baptist Church. Dr Kinney Wallace will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.

Mrs. Dennis was born March 10, 1927 in Troy to the late John Lee and Emma Rose Thompson Freeman. She was a longtime member of Porter Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Winfred A. Dennis Sr. brothers, Clark, Luther, Frank and Bill Freeman, sisters, Bertha Freeman, Mattie Mead, Ella Rose Stinson and Frances Mengel, and granddaughter Melanie Blizzard.

She is survived by her daughter Delores D. Foglia (Joey) and son Winfred A. Dennis Jr. (Linda) all of Albemarle. Five Grandchildren and her Great-Grandchildren. One sister, Ida Hunt of Flint Michigan.
