Mike Almond

Michael Lee “Mike” Almond, 66, of Norwood, passed away early Sunday morning, July 23, 2017 at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00PM, Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at Community Full Gospel Church.  Rev.  Mike Lisk will officiate.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mike was born March 4, 1951 in Stanly County to the late Cecil and Mila Hatley Almond.  He attended Community Full Gospel Church and was a gun salesman and retired body shop detailer.  Mike enjoyed target shooting, gun smith, fishing and playing with his side kick, “Bella”.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harris Cline Almond and Cecil Todd Almond. 

In his survived by his loving wife, Jean Aldridge Almond of the home; son, Landy Lee Almond of Albemarle; sister, Ann Speights (Tom) of Albemarle and brother, Rudy Almond of Albemarle; many nieces and nephews.
