Louise (Falkner) Harward

Louise Falkner Harward, 93, of Norwood passed away Wednesday Morning, June 28, 2017 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00PM Friday, June 30, 2017 at Norwood First Baptist Church, Rev. Todd McSwain,  Rev. Harry Harward and Rev. Terry Thompson will officiate. Interment will follow in Norview Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Harward was born July 15, 1923 in Stanly County to the late Fisher and Bessie Mauldin Falkner. She was a homemaker and a member of Norwood First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joshua Dunlap Harward in 2014.

She is survived by her sons, Harold Harward of Peachland, Jerry Harward and Anthony Harward both of Norwood; daughters, Linda H. Springer of Norwood, Sylvia H. Blake of Mt. Gilead and Valerie H. Thompson of Norwood; 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
