Lola (Chappell) Sneed

Lola Chappell Sneed, 80, of Mount Gilead, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, August 9, 2017 Little River United Methodist Church.  Rev. David Pietz and Rev. Mark Garner will officiate and interment will follow in Exway Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00until 8:00, Tuesday evening, August 8, 2017 at Edwards Funeral Home in Mount Gilead.

Mrs. Sneed was born June 21, 1937 in Richmond County to the late Jesse and Gertie Harrison Chapell.  She attended Little River United Methodist Church. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Dorothy Lammonds and Sophie Burroughs and brothers, Lee Chappell and Clyde Chappell. 

She is survived by her husband, Bob Sneed of the home;  sons, Greg Sneed(Emily) of Pageland, SC, Barry Sneed(Sandy) of Mount Gilead and daughter, Lisa Sneed of Albemarle; grandchildren, Ryan Glover(Delera), Kyle and  Lauren Glover, Brian and Devin Sneed; great-grandchildren, Melody Glover, Alayah and Karmyn Tilley.
