Kenny Dean Surrett

Kenny Dean Surrett, 62, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, September 4, 2017 at CHS-Northeast.

Funeral services will be held a 2:00pm, Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood.  Rev. Barry Whitley will officiate and burial will follow in Norwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Edwards Funeral Home.

Kenny was born June 12, 1955 in Stanly County to the late Joe and Evelyn Morton Surrett. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son, Tommy Surrett.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Brantley Surrett of the home; son, Greg Brantley ( Cassandra) and daughter, Brandy Surrett(Joseph Hinson) all of Norwood; brother, Dale Surrett(Sherry) of Mint Hill; six grandchildren, Christian Surrett, Jaiden, Jordan and Cady Hinson, Josh and Stacy Poplin; two great-grandchildren, Little Josh and Dalan.
