My heartfelt condolences to your family, especially to your wife Denise. She loves you very much and I know that you loved her. She will miss you everyday of her life. We will miss you also and will always remember your laugh. Denise is at peace knowing that you are not in any pain and suffering, but still has a shattered heart. Praying God's mercy and healing for her. Thank you for your service to our country and for loving my sister Denise.

Message from Judy Surratt

Junior, my earliest memory of you was when I was 6 years old. You and your brothers were always bothering me one way or another. But to tell you the truth, I kind of liked that you all took extra time with me and made sure that y'all were not too rough with me. I remembered one time you and Ronnie were trying to teach me how to ride a bike (very patiently, I might add) and Johnny came up to you both and told you two that "Judy's my girl and if anybody is going to teach Judy how to ride the bike it is going to be me". Well I kind of got nervous hearing those words cause I knew how those three boys loved to fight...Lord, did I know it. After a second or tow of Junior looking at Ronnie and visa vera, They both smiled and stepped back and let Johnny have the handle bars of my bike. Oh the relief I felt cause I just knew that we just barely missed the next World War...And now to think I married your brother even after I knew all about you three...lol. Nevertheless, I'm going to miss you Junior. I wish that we had more time to spend together. We sure had a lot to catch up on. I still see you as the little boy you were so long long ago. Please kiss my mom for me.
