Johnny Beck

Johnny Lee Beck 62 of Mt. Gilead died Sunday Morning, June 4, 2017 at Autumn Care of Biscoe.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Friday, June 9, 2017 at Twin Harbor Church. Rev. Tommy Blackwell will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Thursday Evening, June 8, 2017 at the church.

Johnny was born June 19, 1954 to the late Claude Lee and Elsie Collins Beck. He was a retired Truck Driver.

He is survived by his wife Mitzi Hornsby Beck of the home. One daughter, Dana Beck Lawrie (Bryce) of Greensboro. Four grandchildren, Taylor Cecil, Bryson Lawrie, Kayden Lawrie and Maycie Lawrie. Four brothers, Ralph Beck, Melvin Beck (Kelly), Larry Beck( Renee’) and Randall Beck (Sandy). One sister Jeanette Beck Weadon. One step-son, Donavan Blackburn. Two step-daughters, Nikki Blackburn and Amanda Exum. Four step-grandchildren, Adina Exum, Gabby, Alexis and Isabella Temich.

He was preceded in death by a sister Peggy Beck Tharp.
