Janice Floyd Obituary

Janice Gales Floyd 72 of the Aquadale Community died peacefully Wednesday Morning, June 26, 2019 surrounded by her loving family

At Janice’s request there will be no services. The family will receive friends at her home.

Janice was born April 25, 1947 in Cabarrus County to the late Rev. Paul Anderson Gales and Alice Lee Plummer Gales. She was a retired teacher assistant with South Stanly High School and a member of Silver Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Junior Floyd of the home. Three daughters, Leigh Ann Floyd Kayler (David) of Wilmington, Stacy Floyd Lee (Steve) and Shanna Floyd Simpson (Jeremy) all of Norwood. Six Grandchildren and Five Great-Grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharries, 960 North First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
