James Hubbard

James Ray Hubbard 76 of Mt. Gilead died Wednesday Afternoon, March 13, 2019.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood. Rev. Clayton Stoneman will officiate and interment will follow in Anson Memorial Park in Wadesboro.

Mr. Hubbard was born September 12, 1942 in Anson County to the late Lonnie James and Violet Rachel Edgeworth Hubbard. He was a retiree of Collins and Aikman in Albemarle.

He is survived by his wife Edith Chase Hubbard. His children, Theresa Edwards of Mt. Gilead, Michael Coffin Sr. of Albemarle, Marlene McDade of Lexington and Sandy Skaggs of Mt. Pleasant. 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah Boyd and Kelly Haley.
