James Christopher Davis 45 of Albemarle departed this life Saturday, April 21, 2018

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Saints Delight Church in Albemarle. Bishop Jamie Richardson will officiate and interment will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 12:00 Noon until the hour of service at the church. The body will lie in state at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood from 2:00 until 6:00 Monday Afternoon where friends are welcome to pay their respects.

Mr. Davis was born June 8, 1972 in Stanly County to the late James Edward Parker and Elaine Little Watkins of Albemarle who survives. He was a Security Guard with Fishzilla Arcade in Salisbury.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his Step-Father, Robert Watkins. His longtime companion Cheviss Bennett, Seven Children, James Davis Jr. Jefaris Bennett, Ty’Kevion Davis, Alexus Bennett, Jalai Davis, Twaneshia Brice, Chatyvia Davis. Six Sisters, Maxselene Davis, Tunisha Ewing, Tiffanie Spencer, Tashia Davis (Doug), Regina Lewis, Rebbie Pemberton and a Sisterhood of Sisters. Step-Brother, Antone S. Baines and a Brotherhood of Brothers. Five Grandchildren and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
