Frank Carpenter, 84, formerly of Norwood, passed away Friday afternoon at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living in Candor, NC.
Mr. Carpenter was born September 5, 1933, to the late Crawford and Flora Carpenter. He was a self employed brick mason. He loved to hunt and fish when not working.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his children: Frankie Carpenter and wife Judith of Norwood, Danny Carpenter and wife Carol Ann of Albemarle, Randy Carpenter of Albemarle, Annessia Stroud and husband Ralph of Norwood, and Barbara Lamb and husband David of Norwood. In addition, there are 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
