Edison Oxendine

Edison Oxendine 65 of Albemarle died Monday Morning, September 30, 2019 at Spring Arbor.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, October 5, 2019 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Frank Thompson will officiate. A private family interment will follow in Norwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Edison was born July 18, 1954 in Scotland County to the late Rob Peele and Christine Oxendine. He was a retired truck driver and a member of God’s Church in Badin.

He is survived by his sons William Oxendine (Britanee) of Norwood and Reid Oxendine of Hamlet. One sister Edith Chavis of Hamlet and a special cousin Ann Oxendine of Norwood. Three Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother Hoover Oxendine.
