Danny Hurley

Danny Keith Hurley 65 of Albemarle died Saturday Afternoon, September 28, 2019 at his home.

His memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 5, 2019 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A private family interment will follow in Norwood Cemetery.

Danny was born August 18, 1954 in Stanly County to the late Nelson and Ida Mae Harris Hurley. He was a retiree of Stanly Fixtures and attended Encounter Christ Church.

He was preceded in death by his sons Terry D. Hurley, Trent D. Hurley and Jamie K. Hurley and his sister Janice Patterson.

He is survived by his wife Gloria Allman Hurley of the home. One son, Kevin Medlin (Cassey) of Laurinburg. One daughter, Sandy Medlin of New London. Five grandchildren, Dakota, Sky, Annabelle, Stella and Paisley. Four brothers, Wayne Hurley (Kathy) of Albemarle, Robert Hurley (Nora) of Ansonville, Ricky Hurley (Amy) of El Paso, TX and Benny Hurley (Sara) of Salisbury. Two sisters, Brenda Greene of Norwood and Peggy Christie (Ralph) of Salisbury.

Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY  10016.
