Clinton Douglas Whitley

Clinton Douglas Whitley, 32, of Mooresville, departed this life on Saturday, June 3, 2017.

He was born on January 4, 1985 in Concord, to Donna Biggs Whitley of Mooresville and Charles Douglas Whitley of Norwood. Clint had a good sense of humor, was very caring and a charismatic soul, and had a heart of gold. Clint was an exceptional father and spent all of his free time with his son. He was loved by all and will be missed by many.

He is preceded in death by grandfathers, Donald Biggs and Lonnie Whitley.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Colton D. Whitley; Colton’s mother, Taylor Spencer; sisters, Kelly Whitley (John Mease, Jr.) of Waynesville, Loni Whitley of Mooresville; maternal grandmother, Lucille Nelson of Mooresville; paternal grandmother, Nellie Whitley of Albemarle; and nieces, Madisyn and Alyvia Mease.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 8 from 3:00-4:30 PM with a Celebration of Life service following at 5:00 PM at Heritage House of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM Friday, June 9, 2017 at Aquadale Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Colton Whitley Trust Fund at any Fifth Third Bank.
