Christine Largen Coley

Christine Largen Coley 89 of New London died Wednesday Morning, November 15, 2017 at her home.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Coley was born May 23, 1928 in Forsyth County to the late Charlie and Elizabeth Faulkner Largen.

During her life Christine was not only a beautician, but worked in Real Estate and Property Management along with accounting.

She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Clay Coley.

She is survived by her Step-Son, Buddy Coley of New London. Two step-grandchildren, Chad Coley and wife Julianna and Stacy Yow and husband Derek and great-grandson Wyatt Yow. Christine was one of 10 children and is survived by two brothers, Loman and Frank Largen both of Florida. One sister, Irene Tuttle of Stella, North Carolina. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews including a special niece and caregiver, Julie Gomes of New London.

 In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle, NC  28001.
