Julian Cecil Hall 73 of Mt. Gilead passed away Saturday Morning, October 12, 2019 surrounded by his family at his home.
A celebration of Cecil’s Life will be held at graveside at 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Hamer Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tony Sedberry will officiate.
Cecil was born January 17, 1946 in Montgomery County to the late Claude O’Neal Hall and Vertie Kelly Hall. He was a veteran of the United States Army and attended Wadeville Methodist Church. He was a retiree of Jordan Lumber Company.
Cecil was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed all aspects of nature and natural history. One of his greatest joys in life was sharing his insights with his grandchildren. Cecil had a gift of fixing most anything, which he gladly shared with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl Thomas Hall of the home; two daughters, Cindy Hall Owens (Curtis) of Dallas and Kelly Hall Lockamy (Tommy) of Locust; one sister, Pauline Williams of Robbins; and five grandchildren, Catherine, Megan and Sullivan Owens, Bryce and Ella Lockamy.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Claude O’Neal Hall Sr.
