Carolyn Cornelison

Lela Carolyn Mabry Cornelison 74 of Salisbury died Saturday Evening August 25, 2018 at her home.

Memorial Services will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Carolyn was born May 15, 1944 in Montgomery County to the late Raymond and Helen Cranford Mabry. She was a textile retiree.

She is survived by her husband Paul Cornelison of the home. Sons, Stoney and James McIntyre both of Norwood and Bruce Cornelison of Gold Hill. Daughters, Annette McIntyre Hathcock of Asheboro, Vivian Sarnowski of Salisbury and Reba Reid of Rockwell. Brothers, Roy Lee and Darrell Mabry both of Norwood. Sisters, Lillie Ingram of Mt. Gilead, Sylvia Eddins of Albemarle and Pam Moore of Denton. Sixteen Grandchildren, Tabitha Hathcock, Aaron, Brandi, Shevelle and Stephanie McIntyre, Ashley Corl, Keri Cornelison, Derrick Phillips, Tiffany Perdue, Chris and Michael Blackwell, Kim Hipp, Noah and Nicholas Newton, Mackenzie and Justin Reid. Twenty Great-Grandchildren, Lexus, Ila and Deshae Ingold, Jacob and Jason Stevens, Kayne Lambert, Dylan Huneycutt, Abagail Fisher, Emery, Evy and Elinor Corl, Ethan and Aiden Hipp, Kayden and Kamden Perdue, Madalon, Kaitlyn and Emma Blackwell, Maverick and Aria Reid.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Jereline Harris, Doris Howard and Shirley Mabry.
