Carlton Liles Obituary
Carlton Ray Liles,75, of Mt. Gilead, passed away Tuesday evening, February 13, 2018 at CHS of Stanly.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Saturday February 17, 2018, at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood, NC. Dean Luther will officiate and interment will follow at McRae Cemetery in Mt. Gilead. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood.
Mr. Liles was born on December 30, 1942, to the late Colon Liles and Annie Poole Liles. He worked as carpenter for many years.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by brothers: Clarence and Frankie Liles, and sister, Janet Luther.
He is survived by his wife, Jane McRae Liles of the home; two sons, Jeffrey Ray Liles and Shane Alan Liles, seven grandchildren, one sister, Linda Barnette of Kernersville, and numerous nieces and nephews.
