Carl Morgan Jr.

Carl Lee Morgan, Jr 67 of Norwood died Friday morning, August 30, 2019 at Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 1, 2019 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood. Rev. Jeanie Torrence will officiate. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.

Carl was born October 26, 1951 in Stanly County to the late Carl Lee Morgan, Sr. and Ester  Treece Morgan. He worked as a Fork Lift operator for Collins & Aikman.

Carl enjoyed fishing, wrestling and spending time with his dog Roxie.

In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his wife Addie Faye Morgan and a sister Nancy Hathcock. He is survived by a daughter Toni Ann Owens, two grandchildren: Marcus Owens, Jr. and Jada Ann Owens, all of Albemarle, and a sister Judy Ann Elting of Norwood. Nieces and Nephews, Scotty Myers, Sharon Efird, Susanne Lyle, Randy Hathcock and Cindy Greene.
