Brent Coleman Blalock

Brent Coleman Blalock, 46, of Albemarle passed away Monday, July 10, 2017 at his home.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 7:30PM, Wednesday evening, July 12, 2017 at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood.  At other times the family will be at the home of Tiffany Simpson, 515 Watts Street, Albemarle.

Brent was born February 2, 1971 in Stanly County to Rodney Coleman Blalock who survives of Mount Gilead and the late Debra Whitley Riggsby.  He was 1989 graduate of Albemarle High School.  He enjoyed golfing and fishing.  He enjoyed reading and studying the Bible. He was a loving and kind-hearted man and will be missed greatly by all who knew him. 

In addition to his father, he is survived by sisters, Tiffany Simpson of Albemarle, Katie Eudy of Locust and Hillary Jo Blalock of Marion; nephew, Jacob Stephen Beck and maternal grandfather, Pete Whitley of Albemarle.
