Alice Lowder Hill

Alice Lowder Hill, 44, of Norwood, passed away October 29, 2017 at Carolinas Health Care Stanly.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 4, 2017 at 2:00PM at Memorial Baptist Church in Norwood. Rev. Josh Phillips will officiate and burial will follow at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Hill was born on January 28, 1973 in Stanly County to Shirley Lee and the late Eli Lowder. She attended South Stanly High School and was a cosmetologist at Great Clips.

She is survived by her husband Jermaine Hill of Norwood; one son, Dawson Reed of Michigan; two sisters: Amelia Brantley (Mike) of Norwood and Lynne Morrow (Dave) of Colorado; one brother in law: Terry Hill (Lisa) of Albemarle and two sister-in-laws: Tiffany Dumas and Wanda Watkins, both of Mt. Gilead; mother-in-law, Elaine Hill of Mt. Gilead. Nieces and nephews: J.B. (Sarah) Brantley, Kaitlyn Brantley, Beth Strickenburg (Andrew), Breanna, Austin, and Camden Hill; great nieces and nephews: Gavin, Buddy, and Francheska Lomax, and David Strickenburg; and her godfather, Eddie Huneycutt.
