Agnes Luther (Luther) Vanhoy

Agnes Luther Vanhoy (Nana), 73, passed away Sunday November 26, 2017.

Graveside services will be held  on Friday December 1, 2017 at Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church at 12:00. Pastor Wayne Lisenby will officiate and music by Daniel Medley.

Ms. Vanhoy was born on September 4, 1944 to the late Hubert and Ada Norris Luther.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Norman Vanhoy Jr. Two sisters: Susan Foster and Wanda Wise.

She is survived by her children: Patricia Mauldin and David of Albemarle; Gary Vanhoy of New London and Timothy Vanhoy and Gabby of New London. Nine grandchildren: Chris Vanhoy&  Joey, Justin Hartsell & Billie, Kayla Mauldin, Ashlie Vanhoy & Hunter, Terry Vanhoy & Misti,  Destiny ‘Dee’ Vanhoy, Skyla ‘Sky’ Vanhoy, and McKayla ‘Tater’ Carpenter, David ‘Cooter’ Mauldin and Amanda; 11 great-grandchildren: Cody, Hannah, Summer, Dusty, CJ, Allie, DJ, Khloe, Kayden, Kenneth, and Tessa. Three sisters: Betty Hinson of Concord, Pearlie Shaw of Albemarle and Mary ‘Butch’ Page, also of Albemarle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
