Rusty Sandifer

Russell ‘Rusty’ Eugene Sandifer Jr., 38, of Albemarle, passed away February 25, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00PM on Friday, February 28, 2020 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Rusty was born on October 13, 1981 in Frankfort KY to the late Teresa (Teri) Levi and the late Russell Eugene Sandifer Sr.

Rusty was full of life and loved to laugh. He brightened the room and lightened the mood whenever he went. He enjoyed working on cars and loved spending time on Lake Tillery with his best friend, Jason.

He is survived by his children: Skylar Lynne Thompson, and Brayden Lawson Sandifer; his wife, Charla Lowder Sandifer; sisters: Kelli Bowers (Brian Cauble) of the home and Taylor Sandifer of South Carolina; step sister: Natasha Levy Fontana (Frank); two brothers: Steven (Stevie) Sandifer of South Carolina, and Samuel Sandifer of Iowa; step father: Bruce Levy of Norwood; nephews: Jamie Hathcock, Hunter and Tyler Barrier, and Aiden and Nolan Fontana; and one niece: Aubrey Fontana.
