Jimmy Hurley

Jimmy Douglas Hurley Jr. 63 of Mt. Gilead died Saturday Afternoon, February 22, 2020 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital.

Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Stoney Fork Baptist Church. Rev. Terry Burris and Rev. Glenn Hancock will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Jimmy was born August 9, 1956 in Stanly County to Jimmy Douglas Hurley Sr. and Nancy Roberts Hurley of Mt. Gilead. He worked for many years with Gilead Home Supply and later Central Lumber Company and was a member of Stoney Fork Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughter, Jamie Hurley Coble (Derrick) of Mt. Gilead. One brother, Todd Hurley (Lisa) of Mt. Gilead and four grandchildren, Mason, Payton, Maddie and Clair Coble.
