Melinda Gail “Mindy” Fowler 59 of Norwood passed away peacefully Friday Afternoon, March 15, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
A Celebration of Mindy’s life will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday, March 17, 2019 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood. Rev. Bill Roberts will officiate. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mindy was born August 1, 1959 in El Paso, Texas to the late Gail and Bernice Ferris Potter. She was an independent Coordinator for Monarch.
She is survived by her husband Kerry Francis Fowler of the home. Her children Desarae Fowler Hyatt (George) and Keifer Colton Fowler all of Norwood. Four sisters, Kimberly Thompson, Jennifer Lynn Waldroup, Shannon Marie Rummel and Michelle Contreras. Six Grandchildren, Savannah and Jaylon Hunter Beverly, Kristina, Alissa, Alex and Natalie Hyatt and several nieces and nephews, all who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Kerri Anne Fowler and a brother Gibson Glen Potter.
Memorials may be made to Monarch of Stanly County in Mindy’s Memory.
