Johnnie Junior Osborne

Johnnie Junior Osborne, 75, of Norwood, passed away on December 20, 2018 at CMC- University in Charlotte.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Thomas Gibbs will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Johnnie was born on March 8, 1943 in Stanly County to the late John and Elemer Rowland Osborne.  He worked at Albemarle Spinning.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Lottie Burris Osborne; his son, Junior Osborne; and eight brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Chaney and Lynn Medlin, both of Albemarle; 6 grandchildren: Jacob Davis (Chelsi), Barry Smith (Sara), Patrick Osborne, April Coe (Kenny), Jonathan Osborne, and Kimberly Smith; Six great- grandchildren: Olivia Smith, Alexis Coe, Olivia Coe,  Jeremiah McLendon, Noah Coe, and McKinley Smith; his brother Shirley Osborne(Carolyn); and former wife, Betty Bigalow.
