David Richard Preslar

David Richard Preslar, 63, of Albemarle, passed away Friday December 21, 2018 at Atrium Healthcare Main.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Saturday December 29, 2018 at Coyle Baptist Church. Rev. David Sanders will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Preslar was born on May 19, 1955 in Stanly County to the late Graham Uyless and Sarah Louise Lowder Preslar. He was a member of Coyle Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, James Sanders.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Martha Sanders Preslar of the home; one daughter: Mary Ellen Sanders of Albemarle; son: Terry Wayne Preslar of North Dakota; two brothers: George Preslar of Norwood and Joe Preslar of Albemarle; three sisters: Ruth Stipe of Norwood, Margie Mauldin of Mt. Gilead, and Becky Scott of Mt. Gilead.
