Judy Lisk

Judy Cranford Lisk, 77, of Mount Gilead passed away Tuesday morning, March 26, 2024 at Atrium Stanly.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm, Friday, March 29, 2024 at Community Full Gospel Church in Norwood.  Her son, Rev. Mike Lisk will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night, March 28, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood.

Judy was born April 11, 1946 in Stanly County to the late Freelen William and Ruth Wilda Marie Bowers Cranford.  Judy was a 1964 graduate of Albemarle High School and was a member of Community Full Gospel Church.  

Judy loved being a mama, maw maw and friend.  She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play ball.  She had a big heart for all children.  One of her greatest pleasures came from listening to her son, Mike,  preach.  When she was unable to physically attend church, she always made sure to be the first one online, letting him know that, “mama’s here”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lenora Jeanette Cranford Smith.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene Marshall (Nugie) Lisk; son, Mike(Angie) Lisk; daughters, Tracy(Sam) Lemons and Renee Nesbitt(Rodney Lowder); seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are welcome at the home of Mike and Angie Lisk to pay their respects.
