Jennie Turner

Jennie Lynn Brock Turner, 64, of Polkton, passed away Monday Morning, April 8, 2024.

Graveside Services will be held at 3:00PM Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Rocky Mount Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Chad Austin and Rev. Terry Smith will officiate. 

Mrs. Turner was born on October 23, 1959 in Chesterfield, SC to the late Otis and Christine Johnson Brock. She was a carpenter and worked in construction for most of her life with her husband. Jennie loved people. She was very social and enjoyed talking and sharing life stories to anyone she met. She was full of life and enjoyed learning new things. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Patty Pitcher.

She is survived by her husband, Jackie Norris Turner, of the home; three children: Jackie Lynn Poplin (Josh), Laura Elizabeth Turner, and Christy Michelle Thompson; seven grandchildren: Jennie Layne Turner, Jaxon Elijah Poplin, Tyler, Cole, Cade, Emery, and Levi; sister: Teresa Hutson; and brother: Johnny Brock.
