Chucky Chapman Obituary

Chucky Lynn Chapman, 65, of Norwood, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Atrium Health Stanly.

Chucky was born January 13, 1959 to the late Donald and Gypsie Chapman. He was a 1977 South Stanly High School graduate and the retired owner of American Lockstitch in Norwood. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at the river and Holden Beach with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. He loved the Lord.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his granddaughter Abby Burleson.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Martha Chapman, daughters Ashley Burleson (Kelly), and LeAnne Hicks, four grandchildren: Hunter Hicks (Ashlyn), Jerome “Trey” Mormon, Maddie Burleson, and Chase Burleson.
