Junior Doyal "JD" Richardson 78, of Albemarle, passed away
Friday Afternoon, January 6, 2012 at Stanly Regional Medical Center.

A Memorial service will be held at 4:00PM Tuesday, January
10, 2012 at the Norwood Church of the Nazarene. Rev. Jim Davis will officiate
and Full Military Honors will follow. The family will receive friends following
the service at the church.

Mr. Richardson was born in Norwood on February 5, 1933. He
was a son of the late George and Betty Livingston Richardson. He was a retiree
of the US Army and following his army retirement he retired from Security
Forces. He was a member of the Norwood Church of the Nazarene.

He was preceded in death by his wife Shelvie Aldridge
Richardson.

He is survived by his son Bryan Richardson and wife Misty of
Albemarle and his daughter Karla Richardson Brennan and husband Matthew of
Charlotte. His sister Frances Whitley of Norwood, and three grandchildren,
Chase and Kaitlyn Richardson and Katherine Brennan.
