Eugene Simmons Levy 88, of Norwood, died Sunday morning,
December 25, 2011 at Stanly Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, December
27, 2011 at Norwood Cemetery. Rev. Delane Burris will officiate. Full military
honors will be conducted by the Stanly County DAV.

Mr. Levy was born October 20, 1923 in Richmond County. He
was a son of the late Eugene Simmons and Viola Rouse Levy. He was a WWII Navy
Veteran and was retired manager of Norwood ABC Store.

He is survived by his wife Erma Maupin Levy of the home.
Three sons, Robert Levy of Monroe, Douglas Levy of Albemarle and Bruce Levy of
Norwood. Three daughters, Deanna Barbee of Albemarle, Alice Kimrey of Cornelius
and Sara Helms of Oakboro. 13 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren and 1
Great-Great-Grandchild.
