Mrs. Kluttz was born May 11, 1935 in Landis NC a daughter of the late Harris Payne and Mildred Oats Johnston. She was retired from Social Services and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Albemarle.  She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Lawson "FL" Kluttz.

Survivors include her brother, Samuel Johnston. of Bluffton SC, her daughter, Sandra Kluttz, of Beaufort, SC, Lynn Kluttz and her sons, Taylor, Logan and Sean of Norwood, her granddaughter  Steelie Kluttz, and great granddaughter, Savanah Wilson, of Charlotte, and her son, Steven Kluttz, his wife, Kathleen and daughter, Maggie, of New Orleans, LA.
