Mr. Lefler was born October 30, 1924 in Richmond County.  He was a son of the late Jim and Laura Johnson Lefler.  He was a retired Townecraft Salesman and a member of Hamer Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Avis Haithcock Lefler of the home. His daughter and son-in-law, Anne and Louis Kelly of Mt. Gilead. His Grandaughter, Michelle Boone and husband Mike of Mt. Gilead, his great-grandaughter, Makayla Boone of Mt. Gilead and one sister, Virginia Wall of Colfax, NC.

When not at the funeral home the family will be at the home of his daughter Anne Kelly, 597 Haithcock Road, Mt. Gilead, NC  27306.
