Mrs. Ingold was born September 5, 1943 in Stanly County, a daughter of the late William Brooks and Julia Maxine Thompson Byrd.  She was the retired cafeteria manager at Anson High School and a member of Red Hill Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Ingold and a son, David Honeycutt and a brother, William Lee Byrd. .

Survivors include 3 sons: Donnie and wife Debbie Honeycutt of Ansonville, Darrell and wife Sharon Honeycutt of Wadesboro, Doug and wife Wanda Honeycutt of Norwood;  brothers, Robert and wife Patty Byrd of Norwood, Donald Byrd of Mt. Gilead and two sisters, Ann and Jimmie Whitley of New London and Barbara and husband Joe Sikes of Ansonville. 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren,
