Mr. Scott was born August 27, 1970 in Stanly County.  He was a son of the late Eugene Lane Scott Sr. and Mary Pauline "Polly" Carver Scott of the home.  He was formerly employed by EJ Snyder's.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his brother Gene Scott Jr.  his sister Kimberly Scott both of Albemarle. A niece and nephew Kaitlin Delane and David Brian Houck III.
