Bobby was born September 30, 1958 in Stanly County. He was a son of the late Guy and Bessie Maness Faulkner.  He was a retiree of the North Carolina Department of Transportation with 25 years of service. He was a member of Straitway Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sister Jo Anne Hyatt and husband Freddy of Polkton, 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

He was preceded in death by his sister Peggy Faulkner Lefler.
