Crystal was born August 28, 1981 in Stanly County.  She was the daughter of Aaron Howard Leonard and Kathleen"Kathy" Owens Esau both of Albemarle.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Bobby Dale Harward, Three children, Angelique Leonard, Shadd Tucker and Harley Tucker all of Florida. One brother, Chris Leonard and One sister, Kristy Leonard both of Albemarle.
