Mrs. Poole was born February 11, 1944 in Stanly County.  She was a daughter of the late Dee and Beulah Bost Little and was a retiree of Collins and Aikman of Norwood.  She was a member of Oakboro Church of God.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Eddie Lee Poole, a grandson, David, and three brothers, Bill, Tom, and George Little.

She is survived by her husband Edward Lee Poole of the home.  Two daughters, Annette Poole Williams of Oakboro and Brenda Poole Harkey of Monroe.  One son, Donald Ray Poole of Albemarle. Four brothers, Kenneth Little of Norwood, Richard, Jack, and Max Little all of Albemarle, Two sisters, Kathleen McIntyre of Norwood and Doris Burgess of Oakboro. 10 Grandchildren, Aaron, Geneva, Michelle, Kiersten, Kevin, Kara, Michael, Jessica, Donald and Rebecca, 5 Great-Grandchildren, David, Landin, Hannah, Hailey and Zachary.
