Mr. Burleson was born May 7, 1939 in Stanly County. He was a son of the late Cleo and Chloris Huneycutt Burleson. He was retired from the Montgomery County ABC Board and a member of Mt. Gilead First United Methodist Church and Blackmer Lodge # 127.
He is survived by his wife Jane Vick Burleson of the home. Three Sons, Scott Burleson and wife Kelly of Woodstock, GA, Stephen and Andrew Burleson. One Step-son, Chip Griggs and wife Carolyn of Troy. One Brother, Claude Burleson of Albemarle. Five Grandchildren, Caroline, Cameron & Drew Burleson, Will and Thomas Griggs.
