Vivian Diance Hartsell

Vivian ‘Red’ Diane Hartsell, 58, of Albemarle, passed away on September 12, 2017 at her home.

A private service will be held at a later date.

Ms. Hartsell was born on August 6, 1959 in Randolph County to the late Doyle William Roberson and Birtie May Baker Williams.

Vivian was a very loving and special woman to many. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. To her nieces and nephews, she was more affectionately known as Aunt Red.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers Jerry Jackson, Lawrence Roberson, and Jimmy Swiam; and one sister Debra Lynn Roberson.

She is survived by her daughter Debra Mills (Michael) of Albemarle; Three grandchildren: Cody Russell , Adam Sanders, and Ricky Sanders;  Two great-grandchildren: Carson Spicer and Madison Russell; two brothers: Dennis Roberson of Richfield and Benny Roberson of New London; two sisters: Theresa Maynor of Greensboro and Linda Potgierter of Hendersonville; and her beloved dog, Fred.

The family will get together at Morrow Mountain State Park on Sunday September 17, 2017 at 1:00 to share memories of Vivian’s life.
