Tiny (Lee) Blalock

Lois Lee “Tiny” Blalock, 92, of Norwood, passed away Wednesday morning, March 29, 2017 at CHS-Stanly.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM, Friday, March 31, 2017 at First Presbyterian Church in Norwood.  Rev. Julie Hill will officiate and interment will follow in Norwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends, one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.

Mrs. Blalock was born November 19, 1924 in Stanly County to the late Richmond Paul Lee and Bertha Mae Odell Lee.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.  Tiny enjoyed cooking and always made sure that there was something prepared that everyone liked.  Family was very important to Tiny and could be seen by her commitment to them. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Craig Blalock; sons, Jeffrey Allison Rummage and Charlie Preston Rummage.

She is survived by sons, E. Harding Rummage, Jr. (Wanda) and R. Vaughn Rummage (Sharon,) daughter, Bonita Smith (Marvin); daughter in law, Elizabeth M. “Libby” Rummage; sisters, Bonnie L. Blalock and Connie L. Simmons all of Norwood; nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
