Terri (Mauldin) Almond

Terri Hollingsworth Almond, 50 of Norwood, passed away early Tuesday morning, September 12, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00Noon, Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Community Full Gospel Church.  Rev. Mike Lisk will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Terri was born May 18, 1967 in Stanly County.  She was a daughter of the late Sammy Lee Mauldin and Betty Wilhoit Mauldin, who survives.  She was a graduate of South Stanly High School and a member of Community Full Gospel Church. 

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dwight Hollingsworth.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Martin Almond of the home; mother, Betty Wilhoit Mauldin and sister, Tonya Maudlin McManus both of Norwood; step-daughters, Martha Almond Tarlton, Kimberly Almond Thompson(Chris); five step-grandchildren, two step-great grandchildren; two God children, Cameron Bowers and Caroline Lee; nieces and nephews, Jennifer Hill Lilly, Shanna McManus, J. R. McManus, Hunter Lee Gurley,  special great-niece, Destiny Hathcock and special great-nephew, Able Hathcock.
