Ruth Campbell Riggins

Ruth Campbell Riggins 89 of Norwood died Monday Evening, April 16, 2018 at Genesis Healthcare in Salisbury.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Legion Memorial Park in Cooleemee, NC. Rev. Bill Roberts will officiate.

Mrs. Riggins was born May 19, 1928 in Davie County to the late Clark Clifton and Lillie Cordelia Goodman Campbell. She was a retired dietary supervisor with Stanly Regional Medical Center and a member of Norwood First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband Marshall Riggins of the home. Two sons, Gary and Jeffery Gibbons  both of Woodleaf. One daughter, Gloria Koontz of Woodleaf. One sister, Ruby Eagle of Salisbury. Eight Grandchildren, Eight Great-Grandchildren and Two Great-Great Grandchildren.
