Mattie Blalock Sinclair

Mattie Mae Maner Blalock Sinclair, 93, of Ansonville passed away on February 3, 2018.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 7, 2018 at 3:00PM at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Rev. David Hatley will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Mattie was born on January 17, 1925 in Stanly County to the late Paul and Mabel Jo Crump Maner. She was a member at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Glenn Blalock and Ray Sinclair; her sons: Harold and Gerald Blalock; four brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by her sons, C.P. Blalock and Eddie Blalock, both of Albemarle; her daughter Mary Jo Potts of New London; sister Dolly James of Piedmont; a special friend and caregiver, Rhonda Housley and her daughters Brooklyn and Ashlyn; 10 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
