Madonna Lou Tucker

Madonna Lou Tucker, 72, of Oakboro, passed away Tuesday November 28, 2017 at her home.

Visitation will be held on Friday December 1, 2017  from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Edwards Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow after the visitation.

Ms. Tucker was born on August 26, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Cecil and Phyllis Snapp. She worked for many years in the cafeteria at Stanly Regional Medical and was a member at Mineral Springs Baptist Church.

Madonna was a wonderful mother. She enjoyed fishing, scrapbooking , crocheting, dancing, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lee Jay Tucker

She is survived by her children: Wallace Carter (Robin) of Oakboro, Donna Clark (Eddie Kesler) of Badin, Cary Buckenmeyer (Donna Burris) of Locust, Johnny Buckenmeyer (Sandy) of New London, and Ryan Tucker (Heather Scell) of Millingport;  Eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Angela Wissett of FL. She also leaves behind her best friend, Jean West of Oakboro.
